Peach Bourbon Ghost Pepper BBQ Sauce
A very spicy peach BBQ sauce. Excellent when grilling chicken or pork.

- 1.5 jars
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 ghost pepper, chopped
- 2 TBSP peanut oil
- 1 TBSP garlic, finely chopped
- 1/3 CUP bourbon
- 1 TBSP prepared mustard
- 1 CUP peaches, cored and chopped
- 1/4 CUP brown sugar
- 1/4 CUP tomato puree
- 3 TSBP cidar vinegar
- 1 TSBP pepper, freshly ground
Directions
- caramelize onion in peanut oil in a dutch oven or large pot
- add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring often
- simmer for 25 minutes to break down the peaches
- use immersion blender to blend sauce
- fill one jar and seal it, and put the remainder in a jar in your fridge
