Habanero Hash Browns
A very spicy breakfast hash brown. Really wakes you up!

Ingredients
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 habanero, finely chopped
- 3 CLOVES garlic, finely chopped
- 1 TBSP peanut oil
- 1 TBSP butter
- 2 CUP frozen hash browns
Directions
- caramelize onion in peanut oil in a large frying pan
- add butter, let it melt, and add hash browns
- fry for several minutes until the hash browns are almost fully defrosted
- add garlic and habanero, seasoning salt and pepper and other spices to taste (garlic and onion powder are excellent here)
- fry hash browns until they’re crispy
